Property Manager duties and responsibilities

 

  • Dealing with Check-in and check-outs
  • Carrying out property inspections
  • Managing the property by meeting the client’s expectations
  • Managing the property by meeting the Landlord’s expectations
  • Managing the property by meeting the Council’s expectations
  • Maintaining the property while occupied by addressing occupants’ complaints, completing repairs
  • Handling building inspections for prospective occupants or contractors
  • Managing client screenings and evictions
  • Enforcing occupancy rules
  • Preparing regular property-status reports for relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinating maintenance schedule with the Maintenance Coordinator

 

Skills required

 

  • Excellent knowledge of the property and real estate market
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Great management and organisational skills
  • Working knowledge of word-processing tools and other relevant computer software, including Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of financial principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
