Completion of a construction training course demonstrates your ability to learn, your commitment to your trade and your dedication to work. Either way, training and development is an essential part of any career development, and we highly recommend that you consider your options.
We work alongside our training providers so that assessment and accreditation can be carried out on-site during your working day to avoid disrupting productivity and earnings. This allows you to demonstrate you can apply the knowledge from your training into on-the-job skills.
All our assessors are industry accredited and are highly qualified professionals.
On successful completion of a training course, the candidate will receive an NVQ Certificate or Diploma or a Card/Ticket as appropriate.

mast climbing, work platforms and construction hoists. This essential training underpins the safety and legal requirements for the use of such mechanics.
The courses last 1-2 days and will include either a theory or eLearning session followed by a practical assessment. The majority of these courses will qualify you for a PAL Card.
PAL cards are required for any individuals who work at a height and who use powered access platforms to carry out their jobs.
The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) is in place to verify the skills and competencies of plant operators. It is the most widely recognised industry card demonstrating compliance with codes of practice. If you are working in the construction
industry in the UK then it’s very likely that you will need a CPCS card.
The Red Trained Operator Card is issued on successful completion of the CPCS Theory and Practical Technical Tests. The card is valid for 2 years and is non-renewable. In order to upgrade to the Blue Competent Operator Card, you must undertake a relevant NVQ within two years of receiving your Red Operator Card. There are many course categories with the CPCS scheme, but some of the most popular categories are:
