Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman to support work on a site in Exeter in the demolition phase. The role will involve carrying out general maintenance, minor repairs, and assisting the demolition team with site upkeep and preparation tasks.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out general maintenance and repair work on site
Assisting with strip-out and soft demolition tasks when required
Basic carpentry and temporary works (boarding up, hoarding repairs, etc.)
Maintaining site fencing, barriers, and access points
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Ensuring work areas remain safe, clean, and organised
Supporting the demolition team with general site duties
Requirements:
CSCS card – Required
PPE required (hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots, etc.)
Previous handyman, construction, or demolition site experience
Ability to use a range of hand and power tools
Good problem-solving skills
Reliable with a strong work ethic
